Classical Violin and Fiddle Lessons!

I put a lot of myself forward when I say I really enjoy teaching. It's a large part of who I am and because of that I'm great with kids, and really beginners or all ages. Because I can get you to feel like you're making music and enjoying the learning expierience. Music is all about learning, and a quest to better your own mental and physical awareness and precision. In doing so you can learn alot of cool stuff, so I teach using a variety of disiciplines to achive that sort of versatility.

When it comes to higher skill level students, I try to involve as much alternative stuff I can. Teaching fiddletunes especially helps many violinists broaden their horizens and open up a whole new method and thought process behind playing. Developing upon the fiddle tunes lets me use it as a transitional theme into improvisation by usage of variations. This also broadens into modern music, so if you wanna learn that Dave Matthews cover song I got your back.

I teach both half hour and hour long lessons. For some children a 30min lesson is often enough to give them just enough to handle on a weekly basis. But everyone that does make it through the one hour lesson comes out having learned and retained way more then the shorter 30min lesson.
